Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager. In this role, you will provide local relationship management coverage for high-profile inbound Global Banking customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients and internal colleagues both locally and internationally across a wide range of product and client relationship matters.
  • Establishing strong and close working relationships with key individuals in clients' management teams.
  • Working collaboratively with other global businesses, product and service partners to identify opportunities to connect customers and strengthen the relationship.
  • Deepening client relationships and develop effective strategies to improve income generation, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service.
  • Negotiating and structuring credit facilities and documentation under the constraints of credit/lending policies and market standards, meeting clients' needs through a thorough understanding of their businesses, financing requirements and market conditions.
  • Maintaining a proactive calling programme to service clients, ensuring senior management and key stakeholders for key corporate clients are contacted regularly.
  • Ddelivering a high-quality service by owning customer engagement, striving for excellence in all interactions, and always acting according to the highest professional standards.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Solid experience working with corporate/institutional clients across the full spectrum of corporate banking products.
  • Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong sales and customer service orientation, with the ability to work independently and autonomously under pressure.
  • A keen interest in the market and specific client developments, taking a pro-active role across broad industry sectors.
  • Ability to balance and address conflicting priorities amongst Global Banking clients and internal business requirements.
  • A genuine team focus with the ability to manage own workflow and oversee workflow of Associates and other stakeholders through strong organisational skills, time management and interpersonal interaction.
  • Understanding of compliance obligations, risk management and credit mitigants, preferably gained through experience in front line and risk roles.
  • Sound written and verbal communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
