Marketing Assistant Job Description

Alpha Catering Equipment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer accounts, and assisting with pricing and product integrity on our website.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide timely and effective customer service through various communication channels.
  2. Manage customer interactions, including responding to inquiries, comments, and complaints.
  3. Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  4. Obtain and evaluate relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
  5. Provide pricing and delivery information to customers and staff.
  6. Follow up on customer orders and provide tracking details.
  7. Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  8. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Other Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our website's pricing and product information.
  2. Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes and deadlines.
  3. Perform data entry and office administration tasks as needed.
  4. Contribute to general housekeeping duties through a weekly roster.

Requirements:

  1. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise between agents and clients.
  3. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  4. Strong IT skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and willingness to learn new programs.
  5. Flexible and positive attitude to working in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
  6. Ability to handle high-volume inbound calls.
