Job Title: AML/CTF Specialist

Join our dynamic team as an AML/CTF Specialist. As a pivotal member of the National Risk Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Client Due Diligence: Review and analyze client documentation, risk screenings, identify beneficial ownership, and undertake open source research.
  • Escalate High-Risk Issues: Identify and escalate potential higher risk issues and undertake enhanced client due diligence when additional risk factors are identified.
  • Monitor Client Relationships: Continuously monitor client relationships and transactions to identify and address changes and emerging AML/CTF risks. Maintain up-to-date records of client risk assessments and due diligence activities.
  • Risk-Based Decisions: Interpret regulations and internal policies to support risk-based decisions while maintaining compliance with our AML/CTF program.
  • Process Development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of AML/CTF processes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience: Previous experience in AML/CTF compliance or client due diligence is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AML/CTF Risks: Knowledge of AML/CTF risks in the legal services industry is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
