Job Title:

Financial Crime Specialist

Job Description:
  • Provide direct support to the Financial Crime team in their activities, including client screening, risk rating, transaction monitoring and alert management.
  • Conduct investigations and escalations procedures with strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Identify, evaluate and escalate high-risk clients to the AML/CTF Compliance Officer.
  • Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, including making considered and timely decisions and maintaining records to a high standard.
  • Support various AML/CTF initiatives within the business and contribute to internal reporting and collaborative engagement with other members of the broader Risk, Legal & Compliance team.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Investigate, assess and escalate daily AML Transaction, Trade and Customer Screening alerts.
  • Perform Customer Due Diligence, including Enhanced Due Diligence of high-risk customers and Ongoing Due Diligence of LGT Crestone's clients.
  • Manage correspondence with business stakeholders, including Operations and Front Office teams.
  • Assist with various AML related projects and initiatives as required.
About You:
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry or with a regulator is desired.
  • A good working understanding of key AML/CTF obligations and requirements is essential.
  • Relevant AML certifications, such as ACAMS AML Certification, or work experience is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Management, Finance or Law is also desirable.
