Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial EI&C team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of electrical systems for major industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for industrial projects
  • Develop and implement electrical design standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with project managers and discipline engineers to develop project deliverables
  • Ensure quality deliverables while meeting agreed schedules
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
Requirements:
  • Completed a degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia (CPEng preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience working on industrial projects
  • In-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems
  • Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067
  • Understanding of renewable energy, industrial communications systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, Hazardous Areas, and Functional Safety
