Electrical Engineer - Lead

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our electrical engineering efforts across global data centre projects. Your expertise will ensure that all phases of the project, from planning to operation, are executed to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Chair electrical design workshops to ensure optimal solutions are explored and standards are met.
  • Technical Oversight: Conduct key shop drawing reviews, load flow and discrimination studies, and earthing designs.
  • Project Management Assistance: Develop feasibility studies, due diligence reports, and project scopes.
  • Facility Management: Support long-term facilities management with specialist knowledge in maintenance operations procedures (MOPs) and change advisory boards (CABs).
  • Capacity Management: Design, create and maintain power flow and capacity calculations for NEXTDC data centres.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required; High Voltage accreditation is desirable.
  • Solid experience in the design of mission-critical facilities.
