Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial EI&C team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of electrical systems for major projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and delivery of electrical systems for major projects
  • Collaborating with project managers, discipline engineers, and designers to develop project deliverables
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Ensuring quality deliverables while meeting agreed schedules
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia (CPEng preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience working on industrial projects
  • In-depth knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant projects
  • Applied knowledge of relevant standards, including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067
  • Understanding of renewable energy, industrial communications systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, Hazardous Areas, and Functional Safety
