About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our Industrial EI&C team in delivering major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. As our new Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for in-depth knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant projects, including fundamental knowledge of key Australian Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical distribution systems for industrial projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and discipline engineers to develop project deliverables
  • Ensure quality deliverables while meeting agreed schedules
  • Apply knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia (CPEng preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience working on industrial projects
  • In-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems
  • Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067
  • Understanding of renewable energy, industrial communications systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, Hazardous Areas, and Functional Safety
