Our mission is to transform communities and make them easier to move around, more connected, and better to live in. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our Southwest Metro Corridor Project (SWMC) team in Canterbury, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and assess detailed project plans for all stages and facets of the project to ensure timely outcomes.
  • Identify key milestones, prepare daily reports, and maintain the project controls database.
  • Establish and implement Project Controls processes across the project, focusing on risk management, cost control, and quality.
  • Proactively lead a planning and controls culture based on best practices, with a focus on early issue identification and communication.
  • Collaborate with project staff to coordinate information flow for the performance of planning and controls functions.
  • Undertake financial management, including the implementation of project monitoring systems and analysis of project performance.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture, or Project Management.
  • At least 8 years of experience in building, MEP, civil, or rail projects within Australia.
  • Demonstrated application of planning principles and the use of planning software and tools.
  • Experience in project planning delivery on large-scale construction projects, preferably in rail projects.
