Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various strategies, including direct lending, asset-backed lending, and distressed situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue new business opportunities and develop relationships with existing clients to drive revenue growth.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify potential clients and tailor proposals to meet their specific needs.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market, competitors, and client needs to inform business development strategies.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, such as whitepapers and presentations, to establish our expertise in the market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the private credit market, including direct lending, asset-backed lending, and distressed situations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role, ideally including a post-graduate qualification (e.g., CA, CFA, CPA, TMA or ARITA certification).
