About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our Service Team at Johnson Controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and fault-find security equipment, including Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Duress systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on existing sites and install small to medium commercial projects.
  • Commission small to medium commercial projects and quote faults found on maintenance.
  • Liaise with subcontractors during commissioning and assist the commercial projects team with new and existing works.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
  • Australian residency and valid QLD Driving licence, Cable licence, Security licence, and Building Industry Induction card.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, with strong systems, network, and PC-related skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
