About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to join our Service Team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the servicing of existing Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Duress systems. This role will also involve quoting and running small to medium-sized commercial projects, including installation and commissioning of security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and fault-find security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on existing sites to prevent system downtime.
  • Install and commission small to medium-sized commercial projects, including security systems and CCTV infrastructure.
  • Quote and manage faults found on maintenance clients.
  • Liaise with subcontractors during project commissioning.
  • Assist the commercial projects team with new and existing works.
  • Manage customer relationships and provide exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • Australian residency and a valid QLD Driving license, Cable license, Security license, and Building Industry Induction card.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with strong systems, network, and PC-related skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
