**Job Summary**

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to join our Service Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the servicing of existing Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Duress systems. This role will also involve quoting and running small/medium fitouts/upgrades on maintenance database clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Diagnose and fault-find all security equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of existing sites.
  • Install small/medium commercial projects.
  • Commission small to medium commercial projects.
  • Quote faults found on maintenance.
  • Liaise with subcontractors during commissioning of projects.
  • Assist the commercial projects team with new and existing works.
  • Manage customer relationships.

**Security Control Systems**

We utilize a range of security control systems, including P2000, C-Cure, Lenel, Concept, Tecom, and Gallagher. CCTV systems include NVRs, DVRs, LAN/WAN devices, and CCTV servers, which include Aimetis, Victor, Exaqvision, Genetec, and Milestone.

**Requirements**

  • Must be an Australian resident with a valid QLD driving license, cable license, security license, and building industry induction card.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong systems, network, and PC-related skills, as well as a strong installation and commissioning ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently within a team.
