Acute Hand Care Specialist

Our Hand Therapy team works closely with Plastics and Orthopaedics surgical teams to provide best practice care that maximises patients' recovery and return to function.
Job DescriptionAs a Grade 2 Hand Therapist on a part-time (0.8 FTE) ongoing capacity, you will be part of a highly skilled and supportive team working within a busy outpatient department.
You will manage a caseload across the full range of hand therapy services with a strong focus on acute trauma.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach working closely with surgical teams and outpatient colleagues.
- Provide clinical teaching including supervision of staff and student placements.
- Participate in service development projects, working groups, and clinical initiatives to support innovation and service excellence.
To be successful in this role, you must be an AHPRA-accredited Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with demonstrated expertise in acute hand therapy.
