Acute Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Physician to join our dynamic team in Victoria. As an Acute Care Physician, you will provide 24-hour Medical Residency Program services at the Victoria General and Royal Jubilee Hospitals, working closely with specialist colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Provide expert medical care to patients, collaborating with specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
- Support undergraduate and resident teaching, contributing to the growth and development of future healthcare professionals.
- Participate in weekly Continuing Medical Education (CME) rounds, staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices.
You will have opportunities for learning, growth, and innovation in our collaborative environment. We offer unique programs such as Inpatient MAID service, Hospital at Home, and Rapid Assessment and Discharge short-stay unit.
We are looking for candidates who value teamwork and collaboration. Our strong mentorship program and six-week Family Practice return to acute care refresher program ensure a smooth onboarding process and ongoing support.
Victoria offers a unique blend of urban and rural living, with easy access to outdoor activities, cultural events, and reputable schools. Relocation allowances may be available for full-time positions.
