Job Overview

Operational Manager is a leadership role responsible for managing daily depot operations and driving performance excellence.

This key position oversees team resources, scheduling, compliance with safety regulations, and stakeholder relationships to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

About The Role
  • Oversee daily operations by optimising team management, resource allocation, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide strategic leadership to drive business performance aligned with KPIs, safety standards, and company values.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage performance, address grievances, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Monitor and analyse performance data to inform operational decisions and drive continuous improvements.
  • Support the Depot Manager and deputise as required to ensure smooth operations in challenging situations.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large teams or operations in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Expertise in operational systems and logistics, with strong computer literacy.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a medium rigid driver's licence and relevant authority.
