The successful candidate will be responsible for providing proactive HR generalist advice and guidance to business leaders within the organisation. They will guide, coach, and mentor the HR team and business managers to achieve organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing proactive HR generalist advice and guidance to business leaders
  • Guiding, coaching, and mentoring the HR team and business managers
  • Establishing and supporting the implementation of standardised processes
  • Providing appropriate and timely ER/IR support
  • Facilitating Performance and Reward; Employment and Industrial Relations, and Organisation Effectiveness
  • Managing workers' compensation and injury management cases
  • Supporting disciplinary investigations, complaint/dispute resolution, and matters at Fair Work Commission

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years experience in a similar senior influencing role with sound knowledge of business practices
  • Practical experience supporting both salaried and award/EA-based workforces
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline i.e. Humanities, Business/Commerce, Law, or Psychology
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
  • General understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures across the board
  • Highly refined time management skills and ability to deal with conflicting priorities
