Job Role: WHS Compliance Coordinator

Overview of the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fulfill the role of Work Health & Safety (WHS) Compliance Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering and maintaining the corporate safety system to ensure site WHS compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the corporate safety system to guarantee site WHS compliance.
  • Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessments and other safety-related tasks.
  • Support incident reporting and conduct thorough investigations.
  • Ensure Injury Management protocols are supported on site and vessel.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to achieve a safe working environment.
  • Effectively manage contractors in accordance with WHS regulations.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in WHS or higher qualification.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Aquaculture experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and find solutions at the site level.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Attention to detail with an understanding of WH&S matters.
