Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental LeaderJob Overview:

The organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Leader to lead the health, safety and environmental agenda at site level. This position will be responsible for strengthening the safety culture and driving environmental initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site-specific health, safety and environmental plans in alignment with national strategy.
  • Champion a pragmatic and proactive approach to safety, embedding best practices into daily operations.
  • Stay ahead of legislative changes and ensure the site is not just compliant but setting industry benchmarks.
  • Lead meaningful incident investigations and risk assessments that result in real improvements.
  • Deliver engaging and practical training, driving safety awareness at every level.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on HSE performance, translating insights into impactful actions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to site leaders, influencing and coaching to build visible HSE leadership.
  • Support workers' compensation and injury management with a focus on early intervention and a human-first approach.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar HSE leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • A strong operational understanding of safety and environmental practices, with a proactive collaborative approach to building relationships across all levels.
  • Skilled communicator and natural influencer, able to engage inspire and take people on the journey.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE legislation regulations and standards.
  • A confident coach and mentor, passionate about uplifting capability across operational teams.
  • Experienced in leading change and introducing new initiatives in complex environments.
  • A visible and authentic leader who leads by example brings energy to the role and earns trust through action.
