Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies and programs to prevent injuries and manage risks.
  • Monitor and review performance against health and safety key performance indicators.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all regulatory requirements impacting health, safety, and injury management.
  • Develop systems that empower employees to enhance workplace health and safety through participation in committees, hazard identification, and the adoption of safe work practices.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel and work statewide as required.
  • Relentless work ethic and high energy level.
