Senior Clinician

Role Overview:
The Senior Clinician - Child and Youth Assessment and Treatment will lead the operations of the expanded and dynamic service in Central Australia, focusing on providing children and young people with suspected neurodevelopmental vulnerability access to assessment, treatment, management, and supported access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme through a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations of the Child and Youth Assessment and Treatment service.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve service outcomes.
- Manage and supervise a team of clinicians and support staff.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for children and young people.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including families, carers, and community services.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Health discipline.
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or relevant Australian Association Membership.
- Experience in management and supervising a team.
- Experience and skills in providing clinical case management support to vulnerable families.
- Knowledge of child development and neurodevelopmental disorders.
