Job Overview:

The Food and Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our hospitality business, overseeing the coordination and operation of food and beverage outlets as well as conference and event venues. This involves facilitating effective communication channels between various departments, including kitchen staff, guests, and other hotel teams.

As a leader, you will be responsible for driving team engagement, coaching, and counseling to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Your ability to motivate and empower your team will be crucial in achieving our vision of being the most highly regarded hospitality company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and grow revenue streams in food and beverage departments by focusing on core levers such as spend per cover and capture rates.
  • Ensure that adequate control systems are in place for stock control, inventory management, and expenditure.
  • Analyze departmental F&B P&L statements, including formulating key metrics such as food and beverage spend per cover, capture per guest, and departmental profit margins.
  • Build a highly engaged and driven culture, focusing on engagement, performance management, and identification of high-potential team members.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to position menus specifically for site and customer, whilst costing menus and wine lists.
  • Review and respond to guest feedback effectively, developing solutions to specific service problems.
