Technical Support Specialist

About the Role
The Technology Analyst will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of our helpdesk service. Working closely with the Technology team, this individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to all users across Melbourne and Sydney, as well as those working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, courteous assistance to IT users via telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot software issues individually and collaborate with the wider IT team as required.
- Identify common issues and escalate them for further troubleshooting and resolution.
- Set up, configure, and relocate IT equipment as needed.
- Register and issue loan IT equipment to users.
- Troubleshoot hardware problems and log service calls with external providers.
- Coordinate teleconferencing and video conferencing meetings, including liaising with presenters and resolving technical issues.
- Record helpdesk incidents and requests in the helpdesk database.
- Assist with ongoing computer asset tracking and maintenance.
- Perform other tasks as required by the team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong interest in Technology, with one to two years of relevant experience. Ideally, you will have gained this experience in a professional services or corporate environment. You will possess a robust technical skill set and a dedication to excellence, with a willingness to contribute to our high-performing team. You will be a performance-oriented individual with sophisticated communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, service-oriented approach to work.
