We are seeking a Payroll Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading payroll compliance initiatives and ensuring accuracy, integrity, and regulatory alignment.
About the RoleThis is a senior specialist role focused on driving best practice across payroll processes and controls. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll outcomes, risk identification and mitigation, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop an end-to-end payroll compliance framework across key stakeholder groups responsible for configuring enterprise agreements into related payroll systems.
- Evaluate payroll systems, processes, ways of working, and operational requirements to ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements and relevant Industrial Awards, policies, and legislation.
- Design a compliance assurance framework that documents how agreements are fully implemented and reviewed to ensure consistency with organizational policy, contracts, and related materials.
- Assist with implementing policy, award, or agreement changes in the system in a timely manner.
- Prior experience in payroll operations, analysis, or compliance is essential.
- A demonstrated understanding of payroll compliance principles and relevant industrial awards and agreements is required.
- Leadership skills, including constructive collaboration and coaching, are necessary for this role.
- Action-oriented individuals with excellent time management and organizational skills should apply.
