Job Title: Payroll Specialist
\The role of a Payroll Specialist is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing across multiple regions. This position requires strong knowledge of tax regulations and payroll laws to maintain compliance.
\Main Responsibilities:

- Prepare payroll for Australia using Xero software.\
- Collaborate with external advisors to process overseas payrolls, including those in the USA (via ADP), New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and the UK.\
- Capture payroll changes through close collaboration with internal teams.\
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.\
- Reconcile payroll source data across systems.\
- Maintain compliance with payroll-related tax returns, including superannuation, payroll tax, and Workcover.\
- Research and analyse exit terms/costs.\
- Process payroll-related journals.\
- Work with regional partners to prepare tax reports.\
- Perform other payroll-related tasks as required.\
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.\
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.\
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiencies.\
- Pursue ongoing professional development in payroll management.\
- Foster effective communication with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in payroll processing. Strong understanding of Australian tax regulations and payroll laws is essential.
