
Payroll Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations consultant to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial relations and the ability to interpret complex Enterprise Agreements.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver payroll compliance and drive effective remediation processes.
- Collaborate with Legal teams to clarify and action compliance requirements, coordinate with Project Managers to ensure milestones are met, and engage with IT professionals to translate IR needs into technical solutions.
- Design comprehensive testing regimes and robust review processes using analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Identify gaps, propose enhancements, and document outcomes that contribute to the integrity and success of the new system.
This is a pivotal role in revolutionising payroll platforms and ensuring compliance from an IR viewpoint. To succeed, you will need:
- Considerable experience in industrial/employee relations including specialist expertise in employment law.
- Hands-on experience with payroll, detailed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, and proven track record of successfully implementing compliance measures within large organisations.
- Experience engaging Unions and strong understanding of union priorities and practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to present findings, explain regulatory considerations, and facilitate training.
