The RoleKBR's Land Domain Team is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Manager to provide management and integrated logistics support.
- Oversight, management, and delivery of ILS documentation.
- Provision of SME advice to review contract deliverables.
- Assistance with planning of the ILS Program, including development of ILS strategies, concepts, and workforce plans.
- Provision of ILS specialist advice associated with analysis, definition, and planning for project execution.
- Inventory Management support utilizing MILIS skills.
- Provision of SME materiel sustainment advice to higher management and technical reviews.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ILS activities are appropriately managed.
The successful candidate will have:
- A suitably qualified ILS Professional with at least 7+ years of experience within Defense or a related industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Defense Logistics systems, tools, and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in the current Capability Life Cycle (advantageous).
- Leadership and management of the ILS team, including task allocation, prioritization, team training, and review of work packages and documentation.
- Tactical and strategic ILS planning in support of the Project Forward Work Plan.
- Collaboration with work teams to deliver according to the agreed Project Schedule.
- ILS input and advice to support decision-making groups, risk mitigation, and requirements setting.
- Attending meetings and providing ILS input as required.
- Risk Management for ILS within the Project Risk structure.
- Development and review of Integrated Logistics Support Instructions.
- Participation in Capability Proposal meetings and working groups.
- Participation in CoA verification trials.
- Specialist support for procurement planning.
- Input into cost estimates/sustainment (FELCCA) costs as required by the CoA.
- Transition of Support Responsibilities of Capability Proposals.
- MILIS and CMT-L tasks as required.
- Representation to the Project Senior Leadership Team, including opportunities and risks.
