Job Overview

Frequentis is the leading international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These 'Control Centre Solutions' are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, maritime organisations, and railways).

The Senior Project Manager ensures that customer projects are executed successfully in line with Frequentis Project Management Processes by coordinating and steering project work packages and the team of internal and external resources. The primary program of works is the Bypass Voice Communication System (BVCS) to be used in the new Civil Military Air traffic Management System (CMATS).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of the complete project life cycle of delivery projects in the mission critical industry.
  • Definition and maintenance of the project organisation (incl. the securing of internal and external resources)
  • Main contact point for the customer for a delivery project.
  • Integrated project planning and continuous project controlling with regard to resources, budget, milestones/deadlines, coordination with cooperation partners, subcontractors.
  • Definition, Coordination and Management of work-packages.
  • Coordination of work in the project team – together with the Technical Solution Manager (TSM) who is responsible for all technical aspects of a project.
  • Project Risk Management (commercial, contractual, technical)
  • Creation of Project Documentation.
Requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • Mission critical mindset
  • 10+ years of project experience, ideally with technical experience
  • Experience with software solutions, communication solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
