  • This role provides diverse clinical and professional development opportunities, including:
  • Initial rehabilitation assessments and planning for clients with physical injuries and psychosocial barriers
  • Case management for clients transitioning to new employment or returning to same employment
  • Services within job description and clinical scope of practice, including worksite assessments, functional capacity evaluations, and home ergonomic assessments
  • Training on injury prevention relevant for client needs
  • Work task analyses and preparation of job dictionaries
  • Holistic treatment approaches and regular liaison with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust rehabilitation plans
  • Affirmation of clients' physical health and wellbeing, and medical conditions impacting ability to work, in conjunction with the treating medical team
  • Detailed case notes and reports
  • Support for veterans with psychosocial, medical, and vocational goals
  • Collaboration across multiple state- and national-based insurance schemes, and with self-insured employers
  • Training to deliver Virtual Reality Empowered Pain program for clients with persistent pain presentations
