We are looking for passionate graduates who want to make a real difference in the lives of those they treat to join our two-year Graduate Program.

You'll work with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting clients on their journey to return to work and life after physical or psychological injury.

As a Graduate Physiotherapist at APM, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing initial rehabilitation assessments and planning to assist clients with physical injuries and psychosocial barriers to participate in Graduated Return to Work Programs.
  • Managing cases for clients transitioning back to the same or new employment.
  • Delivering services within your scope of practice, such as:
    • Worksite assessments
    • Functional Capacity Evaluations
    • Ergonomic assessments for home, office, and vehicle environments
    • Injury prevention training tailored to client needs
    • Work task analyses and job dictionary preparation
  • Coordinating a holistic treatment approach, liaising with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust plans.
  • Collaborating with medical teams to assess clients' health and work capacity.
  • Documenting case notes and reports.
  • Supporting veterans in achieving their psychosocial, medical, and vocational goals.
  • Gaining experience across various insurance schemes and working with self-insured employers.
  • Training to deliver the Virtual Reality Empowered Pain program for clients with persistent pain.
