Physiotherapist - Apm Graduate Program (Start Asap)

Support clients' return to work and life after injury as a Graduate Physiotherapist in APM's two-year program, with diverse clinical and professional development opportunities.
Your role
Responsibilities
Providing initial rehabilitation assessment and rehabilitation planning to assist clients with physical injuries and secondary psychosocial barriers to participate in Graduated Return to Work Programs
Providing case management for clients with return to same employment or transition to new employment
Providing services within job description and clinical scope of practice including, but not limited to: worksite assessments, functional capacity evaluations, home, office, and vehicle ergonomic assessments
Delivering injury prevention training relevant for customer need
Completing work task analyses and preparing job dictionaries
Coordinating a holistic treatment approach for the client's condition, regularly liaising with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as needed
In conjunction with the treating medical team, assessing and making recommendations regarding clients' physical health and wellbeing, and medical conditions on ability to work
Writing detailed case notes and reports
Working with veterans to support their psychosocial, medical and vocational goals
Working across multiple state- and national-based insurance schemes, and with self-insured employers
Being trained to deliver the Virtual Reality Empowered Pain program for clients with persistent pain presentations

Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy (graduate level)
Desire to work in a multidisciplinary allied health team
Commitment to supporting clients' return to work and life after injury
Willingness to work with clients with physical and psychological injuries
Strong communication and case management skills
