Operations Coordinator Job Opportunity

This role offers a chance to work with an Australian software and consulting firm based in Newcastle, NSW. The company provides expert services to help manage environmental, climate, health, and safety risks and opportunities for tourism, leisure, entertainment, and hospitality businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will serve as the first point of contact for all incoming communications, fielding calls and enquiries, and providing diary management and client management support to the leadership team.
  • You will perform periodic customer check-ins, contract renewal follow-ups, and help desk enquiry responses.
  • Coordination of weekly stand-up meetings and assistance with the maintenance of project management tools are also key responsibilities.
  • Maintaining good communication across teams and divisions is crucial for success in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A background in customer service or sales, particularly with long-term client relationship management, is essential.
  • Technical application and analytical skills, including knowledge of digital product suites, are necessary.
  • Tenacious follow-up and organisational skills are required to manage large volumes of warm lead enquiries.
  • A tertiary background in environmental management or OHS is desirable but not compulsory.
  • A sound understanding of climate change and risk management is necessary to advise on product suitability and handle objections.
