Senior Infrastructure Specialist - Environmental Planning Role

Job Overview:

The opportunity to lead diverse infrastructure assessment projects across various sectors presents itself in this role. As a Senior Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing high-profile environmental impact assessments and related studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely, high-quality environmental impact assessments and related studies efficiently
  • Oversee the development of strategic planning pathway assessments and environmental management plans
  • Manage project resources, timelines, and quality standards effectively
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, supporting their technical and professional growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, applying commercial acumen and emotional intelligence to project leadership

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental planning, or environmental engineering
  • Substantial experience in environmental impact assessments across multiple market sectors and a reputable industry standing
  • Strong project management skills, commercial awareness, and emotional intelligence to develop and maintain positive peer and client relationships and effectively manage resources, timelines, quality, and budgets
  • A drive to mentor junior and mid-level consulting staff to enhance their skill sets in the environmental planning and approvals area
