Design Coordination Opportunity

Seeking a motivated and detail-focused individual to assume the role of Design Coordinator, working closely under senior leadership. This junior-mid level position is ideal for someone with solid technical grounding and niche project experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior leadership in coordinating design documentation and consultant outputs.
  • Manage day-to-day design queries and ensure documentation aligns with project requirements.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design challenges efficiently.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide clear communication across stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail.
About You:
  • 3-5 years' experience in design coordination or management, ideally on Class 2 residential or shopping centre projects.
  • Strong documentation and coordination skills (Revit, AutoCAD, or similar exposure beneficial).
  • Enthusiastic, detail-focused, and collaborative - someone who takes ownership of their role.
  • Based in Newcastle (or surrounds) and willing to travel occasionally to support project requirements.
  • Motivated to learn and develop under senior guidance - not looking for a senior role.
