The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our client, a reputable company in the manufacturing sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating the operations of small manufacturing establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Business Opportunities: Develop and implement strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market share.
  • Develop Business Plans: Create and implement comprehensive business plans, including operational, marketing, human resource, and pricing procedures.
  • Research and Implement Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with regulatory and statutory requirements affecting manufacturing operations and the environment, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  • Direct Production Activities: Oversee the activities of production, warehouse, distribution, and other operating units to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control systems for manufacturing, waste disposal, delivery, and other procedures to ensure high-quality products.
  • Coordinate Orders and Supplies: Coordinate orders for raw materials, supplies, and equipment, and arrange packaging, delivery, and wholesaling of products.
  • Oversee After-Sales Service: Ensure that after-sales service is provided to customers, including maintenance, repairs, and customer support.
  • Provide Quotes and Contracts: Develop and provide quotes for the manufacture of specialized goods and arrange contracts with customers.
  • Implement Production Run Schedules: Develop and implement production run schedules to ensure efficient and effective production.

Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field, such as business administration, operations management, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience: At least five years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations management, or a related field.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy materials.
  • Registration or Licensing: Registration or licensing may be required, depending on the specific job requirements.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary package, including a base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, and opportunities for career growth and development.
