The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cafe operations, including menu planning, staff supervision, and customer service. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and plan menus with our culinary team to ensure a diverse and appealing range of options.
- Oversee special functions and large bookings, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
- Manage inventory and financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to budget guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, functional, and visually appealing dining and kitchen environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to gather feedback and improve our services.
- Promote our brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and events.
- Take reservations, greet guests, and assist with orders.
- AQF Associate Degree Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing a restaurant or cafe, with a strong background in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and during busy periods.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient management and leadership skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
