We are seeking a dedicated Animal Welfare Supporter to join our team at the Bathurst Animal Rehoming Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who shares our passion for animal welfare and is committed to providing exceptional care and services.
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting animal welfare by maintaining high standards of care and assisting with daily operations. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of animals in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in animal enclosures.
- Assist with the daily care and management of animals, including feeding, exercise, and veterinary care.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the coordination of adoptions and ensure seamless communication with adopters.
- Develop and maintain solid working knowledge of animal behavior and assessment requirements.
- Contribute to the development of effective administrative systems and processes.
