About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engagement Officer to join our team at Programmed. As an Engagement Officer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with our clients and stakeholders, particularly in the Indigenous community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with Indigenous communities and stakeholders, including travel to remote locations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including client teams and partners.
  • Provide high-quality advice and support to internal teams, including identifying opportunities and facilitating cooperation.
  • Make informed decisions using professional judgment, evaluating risks in a complex and changing environment.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
  • Organized and able to contribute to activities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to identify problems and work to resolve them.
  • Strong commitment to working collaboratively within a team to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
