We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join our team.

Job Description

This is a 6-9 month contract role where you will be advising on appropriate accounting treatments for proposed transactions in accordance with your business unit-aligned and/or subject matter expert aligned focus areas. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain the Group's accounting policies and frameworks in specific subject matter expert areas and support the Group in understanding and implementation of accounting standard changes.

Your focus will include providing expert guidance on financial matters, developing and implementing accounting policies, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary degree in business or commerce and relevant accounting certification (CA/CPA)
  • Extensive experience within a technical accounting role
  • Experience in interpreting and advising on impacts of changes in standards to the business
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience
