Senior Financial Markets Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Financial Markets Specialist.

This role will involve developing and implementing crisis management plans for critical financial infrastructure, leading work on robust processes and arrangements to deploy crisis management powers, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will have deep experience in financial markets, regulatory practice, and/or crisis management, with a strong track record of driving solutions in a dynamic environment.

We are looking for a results-focussed individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas, including crisis management, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing crisis management plans for critical financial infrastructure
  • Leading work on robust processes and arrangements to deploy crisis management powers
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives
  • Providing expert advice on financial market infrastructure and crisis management

Requirements:

  • Deep experience in financial markets, regulatory practice, and/or crisis management
  • Strong track record of driving solutions in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Tertiary qualified and experienced in one or more relevant areas such as economics, financial services, markets, law, regulation and public policy
