1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Atherton Davis Director at Atherton Davis, specialist recruitment for Legal, Compliance, Risk & Company Secretarial Newly created Senior Policy Advisor position which will focus on public policy for a diverse technology led organisation operating within the financial markets.
You will join a growing team reporting into the Head of Regulatory Strategy which is responsible for managing all regulatory engagement, policy positions and industry liaison.
You will be responsible for analysing public policy and to understand the impacts for the organisation and to communicate the internal policy position and influence outcomes.
You will build relationships and engage with policy makers, regulators, and industry stakeholder groups to support the organisations business initiatives including drafting submissions in response to government consultations.
You will monitor financial sector policy issues and trends and keep the organisation abreast of emerging regulatory issues and reform agendas.
The position requires someone who has at least 7-10 years of experience in public policy advice with strong demonstrable written and verbal communication skills and is keen to apply this in a dynamic commercial setting.
Open on academic background being law, economics, political science and could come from a policy role with the public sector,or industry working group, or large corporate and regulated environment.
Lust have financial markets and/or banking and financial services experience.
