Financial Governance Expertise Opportunity

This role presents an opportunity to shape financial policy and accounting standards across NSW, working with diverse stakeholders to provide expert advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in accounting and governance to inform policy development and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality accounting policies, frameworks, and technical papers.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively to senior leaders and various stakeholders.

A CA or CPA-qualified professional with a strong background in accounting, finance, or commerce is required. Key skills include advanced technical accounting expertise, excellent communication and critical thinking skills, and the ability to drive improvements in financial reporting processes.
