Technical Sales Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for maintaining existing customers across the commercial and structural markets. You will provide technical guidance and support to clients, process quotes, and convert sales opportunities while maintaining CRM accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain relationships with existing key commercial customers
- Provide bespoke technical support and solution selling
- Manage and quote new opportunities in the commercial and structural markets
- Conversion of sales opportunities from quote to order
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback as required
- Record, manage, and maintain all activities in CRM
- Sales or proactive customer service experience in B2B environment within construction, civil, plumbing, or building-related industry
- Technical aptitude with formal education/training/experience in technical construction or civil construction/engineering or mechanical processes
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings or specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Experience with longer lead time environments
- CRM management
- Strong computer skills
- Multitasking and time management
