Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Construction Manager to oversee construction fitout projects in Sydney. As the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered successfully from pre-design through to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure construction projects meet standards and client requirements.
  • Manage communication with the Client, Site Team, Subcontractors, and other Stakeholders.
  • Effectively handle project budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead risk management efforts and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental systems.
  • Assemble and lead project teams to optimize performance and achieve project goals.
  • Oversee project procurement, subcontractor engagement, and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing construction projects as a Project Manager in the Australian building construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities with all levels of staff.
  • Experience with Procore, MS Project, and MS Excel is preferred.
  • A proactive and motivated work style, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
