Job Description:

As a dedicated rehabilitation specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals in their return to work after injury or illness. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled occupational rehabilitation professional to contribute to the success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your networks and industry knowledge in occupational rehabilitation to identify new return to work opportunities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with employers seeking return to work support for their organisation
  • Case management for injured workers who are needing physical and/or psychological support to return them back to employment
  • Taking a more holistic care approach, establish key relationships with health professionals and work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
  • Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing
  • Strong clinical reasoning
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
