Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Elevate your career with a dynamic and ambitious organisation. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, distribution, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administration of our warehouse.

You will lead, train, and inspire a high-performing team committed to operational excellence. Your exceptional leadership skills will motivate staff to achieve their full potential, while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision
    • Provide ongoing training and support, ensuring staff maintain required certifications and follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Monitor timekeeping and performance, address issues per HR policy, and enforce safety and hygiene standards.
    • Lead weekly Toolbox meetings, promote open communication, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Inventory and Warehousing
    • Oversee inventory flow, ensure accurate stock records, and maintain optimal warehouse capacity and layout.
    • Collaborate with Production and Planning to ensure material readiness and manage timely dispatch of finished goods.
    • Ensure proper stock rotation (FEFO/FIFO), accurate cycle counts, and correct handling of quarantined or slow-moving stock.
  • Health & Safety
    • Promptly report maintenance issues, near misses, and incidents via our HSE Connect system.
    • Escalate all health and safety emergencies to the Site Manager immediately.
    • Consistently uphold and promote health and safety procedures and standards across all warehouse operations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role.
  • ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency essential.
  • A clear understanding of Warehouse operations, including the disciplines required to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Proven experience handling multiple dispatch and inward goods at one time.
  • Forklift and reach hoist licenses (F-endorsed desired).
  • Experience leading stocktakes and variance investigations.
  • A strong focus on health and safety compliance.
  • Chemical handling and spill response knowledge.
