Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Casino, NSW. This role will involve leading and motivating a high-performing warehouse team to achieve operational excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Staff Supervision:
      • Provide ongoing training and support to ensure staff maintain required certifications and follow standard operating procedures.
      • Monitor timekeeping and performance, address issues according to HR policy, and enforce safety and hygiene standards.
      • Lead weekly toolbox meetings, promote open communication, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
    • Inventory and Warehousing:
      • Oversee inventory flow, ensure accurate stock records, and maintain optimal warehouse capacity and layout.
      • Collaborate with production and planning to ensure material readiness and manage timely dispatch of finished goods.
      • Ensure proper stock rotation, accurate cycle counts, and correct handling of quarantined or slow-moving stock.
    • Health and Safety:
      • Promptly report maintenance issues, near misses, and incidents via the health and safety reporting system.
      • Escalate all health and safety emergencies to the site manager immediately.
      • Consistently uphold and promote health and safety procedures and standards across all warehouse operations.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
    • Minimum two years' experience in a similar role.
    • ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency essential.
    • Must demonstrate a clear understanding of warehouse operations, including the disciplines required to maintain accurate inventory.
    • Proven experience handling multiple dispatch and inward goods at one time.
    • Forklift and reach hoist licenses (F-endorsed desired).
    • Experience leading stocktakes and variance investigations.
    • Strong focus on health and safety compliance.
    • Chemical handling and spill response knowledge.
