About the Role

This is a high-level coordinator position that provides expert support to senior executives in managing relationships with key stakeholders.

As a strategic advisor, you will have an exciting opportunity to influence energy sector engagement at the national level while working closely with the Chair, Board, and Executive Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on government relations and stakeholder engagement priorities to senior executives.

  • Develop and coordinate briefings, correspondence, and reports that align with organisational objectives.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives, including liaison with Ministers, government agencies, industry, and consumer advocates.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships across internal teams and external partners through a strategic approach.

  • Support communications and engagement plan development and delivery.

  • Exercise strong judgement and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

About You

We are seeking a motivated professional with:

  • Proven experience in government relations and stakeholder engagement, ideally in a Federal or State Government setting.

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality advice and briefings under tight time frames.

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to manage relationships at the senior executive level.

  • A proactive, strategic mindset, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.

  • Strong organisational skills to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
