National Energy Sector Engagement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to step into a fast-paced, high-profile role that offers the opportunity to influence energy sector engagement at the national level.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic advice to senior executives and stakeholders on government relations and engagement priorities.
- Draft and coordinate briefings, correspondence and reports that are accurate, timely, and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Lead and manage stakeholder engagement initiatives, including high-level liaison with Ministers, government agencies, industry, and consumer advocates.
- Take a strategic approach to building and maintaining effective relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Support the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans.
- Manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment while exercising strong judgement and problem-solving skills.
We are looking for a motivated professional with:
- Demonstrated experience in government relations and stakeholder engagement, ideally in a Federal or State Government setting.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality advice and briefings under tight time frames.
- Proven ability to manage relationships at the senior executive level, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- A proactive, strategic mindset, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Play a key role in shaping stakeholder engagement at a national level.
- Work with senior executives on high-level stakeholder and government relations matters.
- Be part of a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking team.
