Job Overview

The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements across Australia and New Zealand operations.

This position is responsible for leading financial reporting, including month-end, year-end, budget, and forecast submissions. The Finance Manager will manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants; oversee audits and tax compliance for Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Partner with operational leaders to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and best practice accounting compliance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve key deadlines and KPIs.
  • Contribute to strategic projects, including financial modelling, property forecasting, and M&A activities.
Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a CA/CPA qualification.
  • At least 7 years' experience in a mid-to-large corporate environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in audit, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Proven experience in managing audits, financial statements, and budgeting processes.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
